Title: Different bushings in the EZ Lock kit
Post by: Jerry on April 17, 2010, 05:55:35 PM
I recently got the MSK-250 kit.  The replacement bushings don't fit.  My Tormek is an early version, got it in late 1995, and the original bushings fit into a round hole in the housing.  The new ones have a small raised ridge that appears to be for a slot or notch which aligns the bushing before it's pressed into the housing.  My housing does not have that notch cut in the perimeter of the opening in which that ridge will fit.

Anyone know if tormek changed the bushing style at some point?  The bushing O.D. is the same for both sets.  Wondering if I should grind off the small ridge or if there is another bushing available?
