Title: a general posting comment
Post by: Ken S on May 25, 2014, 11:03:51 PM
One of the pleasant changes I have noticed in postings over the years is replies seem more directed to the original subject.  Yes, some humor is interjected, which is fine.  However, the very long posts with totally unrelated replies seem to have fallen by the way side.

I have not had much luck with the search function on this site.  It is improved when posters start new posts for new subjects.

Let's keep up the good work....

Ken

If you mean is there a jig for sharpening scissors.......yes.

Also, do you have any recollection of this:

Hearts, like doors, open with ease
To very, very tiny keys;
And don't forget that two of these
Are, "I thank you," and, "If you please."

Good manners cost nothing!

The electric clippers used to cut human hair have different blades, I seem to recall, than those used to cut dog hair.

The consensus seems to be that the Tormek is not the best tool to use for this job.

Hector,

If you mean electric hair clippers, I found this which might help you:

The Tormek is primarily a round grinder, not designed for flat surface grinding.  While it does many things very well, I think flat stone would serve you better for electric hair clipper blades.

good luck,
