Sharpen the boring mind? :D
Sharp thoughts of a happy Christmas to you all, hope most of you like me, are able to catch up with family and enjoy yourselves. But it isn't Christmas until tomorrow, and there is no excuse for a less than perfect carving knife :)
Merry Christmas to all in the Tormek community.
My daughter wants her knives sharpened today. If she remembers to bring them I will have them ready for tomorrow's dinner. If not I will bring a couple of mine to her house.
Merry Christmas to all! :)

Merry Christmas
I am off to sharpen my daughter's knive's for Christmas carving later today.
We had a great Christmas eve with granddaughters last night.
Merry Christmas to all.
Jan, I like your Christmas image. It brings to mind memories of happy past Christmases.
Merry Christmas to all and a productive New Year for the forum

For thirty years I used a wooden view camera. It used sheet film holders. Each holder help two sheets of film and the holders had to be loaded and unloaded in the darkroom. During a week long trip, I might typically expose thirty sheets of film, roughly the equivalent of one roll of thirty five millimeter film. In an age of cel phone cameras, this might seem cumbersome or tedious, however, the quality of the images is incomparable. My serenity of mind came from having been at peace with the universe when I cleaned and loaded my film holders the previous evening.
With the Tormek, my serenity of mind comes from using a freshly trued grinding wheel and clean water. Knowing that my grinding wheel is optimized for good work declutters my mind and opens it to concentrate on sharpening.
