Title: SVS-32 won't roll enough to the side for this gouge
Post by: Dan C on April 25, 2007, 04:41:08 AM
I have a #11, 20 mm gouge that I want to sharpen using the SVS-32 jig.  The problem is that this jig won't allow me to roll the gouge far enough to the left or right to sharpen the outside edges of the gouge.  The round screw handle on the jig hits the  Universal Support.  Is there a solution to this so that I can sharpen my gouge on the Tormek?  Should I be using a different jig?

Try the SVS-50 with the open seat.  It allows full rotation of the tool.
