Title: Extra fine adjuster?

Anybody have any experience with this product and it's claim of 1200-1500 extra fine grit?

You can do essentially the same thing with your stone grader. Use the fine side of the stone grader for the recommended time. Run your fingers over it. Then use your fine side again for a substantially longer time. (Try 90 seconds)
Your grinding wheel will feel smoother.

If you were to guess how many BESS points would drop?

Impossible to say, because it depends on too many other factors such as the type and condition of the steel and the edge.

Also, you might get it really sharp for showing off, but then when you go to use it, it can lose that keen edge quickly.

Yup, finding that sweet spot between wicked edge and lasting edge takes some experience...
