Title: Sharping Ultra Premium Steels
Post by: brute on May 25, 2020, 02:39:59 PM
I have a question, anyone have experience sharping ultra premium steels? Like Maxamet, S110V, S90V, Elmax. Are CBM wheels good, or are Diamond wheels better?

Both kind of wheels are adequate for Premium Steels.

I have used both wheels for VGMax and S90V and I have obtained very good results.

(I understand where you write CBM you want write CBN)

Regards

If you have not already, you should avail yourself of Knife Grinder's work on sharpening all sorts of knives.  Best info I know of.
