Title: Roughing Gouge Grind
Post by: edward on September 30, 2023, 09:56:32 PM
I had a roughing gouge that was working pretty good and I decided to sharpen it with the tormek t4.  I followed the marker method to sharpen. Now the gouge will not cut into the wood.  I have checked and even used the  settings P=75mm, SVS-50 open face and set the Universal Support with Hole A still the same result.

I can't figure what I've done wrong.

Any help appreciated.

On the SVS-50, I use 0° & projection of 55mm, combined with setting the USB using hole A on the TTS-100.  This gives a 35° edge angle.
