Warning about a sharpening tool seller – order paid, item not received”

Hello everyone,

I would like to share my experience with a seller who advertises sharpening accessories for Tormek T8 (through his videos and personal website).

Facts:
• Order and payment date – October 3, 2025
• Product – Attachment for Tormek T8
• Payment – [bank card /Google Pay
• As of today, the item has not been delivered, and the seller does not respond to my messages or provide a tracking number.

I have screenshots of payment confirmation, email communication, and the product page. I'm sharing this information to warn others and to find out if anyone had a similar experience with this seller.

If moderators require, I can provide all proof privately.

I'm surprised to hear about your problems with this reputable supplier.
The best would be to give them a call. I assume they speak english.
If this would be inconvenient for you, I could call them and try to bring them in contact with you. I'm based in Germany.
If you are interested, send me some contact info and if possible a PO number or something I could refer to.

I've purchased from this person before and have had no problems. I'm in the UK and there was no issues with communication or shipping. I would follow the previous posters advice and im sure the problem will be resolved.

I have also ordered items from this supplier to me here in France and had no problems at all. The order was shipped the day after, delivery was efficient and communication was excellent.

I can only presume that there is a good reason for the delay or lack of response...
As I understand, it is just a small company, possibly just Andreas (sorry, is it Hanns?) himself.
He does appear to be active on youtube in the last few days.

If you have a Google account, maybe you could send him a message on that latest video. I am sure if it is in English he will manage to understand or translate OK.

Or, maybe a phone call, as HaioPaio says, could resolve the matter.

Never had any issue with deliveries from Hanns. He is always responding fast and acts customer oriented. It's the worst way to post your problems in news groups instead of contacting him directly.

Hello everyone,

Thank you very much for your replies and advice.

I have already contacted the seller several times — on October 26th, November 3rd, and November 4th — asking them to reply or at least provide me with a tracking number for the parcel.
Unfortunately, I still haven't received any response.

In my last message, I also mentioned that I would have to open a dispute through my bank if the situation was not resolved, but even after that, there has been no reply.

It's possible that there are some valid reasons for the delay, but at the moment there has been no communication at all, which is quite worrying.

I have purchased several items from Hanns, and have always received excellent service. I suggest we hold off any judgements until we know the full story.

Thank you all very much for your help and support.
Last evening the seller finally replied to one of my messages. According to him, the parcel was sent on October 8th. I will now contact the shipping company to find out where it got lost.

It's a bit disappointing that only after almost a month the seller finally provided me with the tracking number.

Sorry for the trouble, and thank you again for your understanding.
