Does anyone have any advice on how to sharpen the Alan Lacer 1 3/8 "curved" skew chisel?

I just recently bought an Alan Lacer skew, and I am still working on shaping the edge with my dry bench grinder because it came with a bevel angle that was much too fat.  I was planning on using the universal tool rest and free hand grinding the edge.  If you have a Wolverine jig, I suppose that it could also be used with the Tormek.
