Card Scrappers

 :)Any tricks on sharpening card scrappers.

I have the tool rest but the scrapper makes a horrible din when flattening on the side of the stone.

Do I remove the burr on the stone with the scrapper flat to the stone or should I use the strop?

As shown on page 112 of the Owner's Handbook, it is best to work with the SVD-110 upside down along the side of the stone.  It says there to use the leather honing wheel to remove the burr.
