Hi all,
Big thanks to Ken, Jeff and Rob, really appreciate the posts and i can see your years of experience in the post you do.
i shall try some of these tips, try to take some photos and keep you all posted.
i need look into the cost of a few items, i find the prices in Australia a bit expensive compared to online sites like Rockler.com
Are you three American based?

if only other tools had forums as good as this one.

Jeff and Ken are USA based, I'm in England. I have a sister in Sydney and I lived there myself for a year. Good to have a bone fide Ocker on the forum. I used to live in Neutral Bay on the north shore.  Right by the Oaks pub :-).

I guess distribution for tools is a different ball game down under, everyone's gunna add shipping etc to the price. Mind you, being closer to the Far East, don't you get some bargains with home grown manufacturers?  I was reading recently about the Aussie who innovated that power carving wheel that fits onto an angle grinder...that's become a successful global seller

Anyway, definitely take some pics and post them, we're always keen to look at new stuff.
