Hi, new here! I am restoring an old Tormek grinder - big square green one, probably an old equivalent of the T7. My question is as per subject line, how do I remove the motor from the swinging shaft to enable me to clean and repaint the bodywork?

thanks,

Tim

If you look at the ends of the shaft, you'll notice that one end is bullet shaped and the other is flat and splined. Drive the pin out of the frame by tapping on the bullet end. Notice the position of the spring or spacer as you take it apart, so that you put everything back as it was.
