trouble sharpening 1/4 inch craftsman brand chisel...

Hello all,
I am having trouble sharpening my 1/4 inch craftsman chisel. I have done the following.

1. read previous posted and tried there suggestions. I insured that the chisel is flush against the jig and checked to insure it has not moved.

2. checked that the stone and the guide rail are true/parallel.

3. using moderate and even pressure while shaping/sharpening.

Please help.

sorry about that jeff.

The problem is that the chisel is not square.
